Following are three ways you
can access your email. I recommend using Outlook Express when you are at home.
It is the fastest of the three methods described below. The other two methods
use an internet browser, which you can access from any computer.
1.
This
is the icon for Outlook Express as shown on your computer. To open, just double
click this icon on your laptop. Sometimes large messages will be placed in your
Outbox waiting to be sent. In this case just click the “Send and Receive” button
and all messages in the Outbox will be sent. You can click “Send and Receive” at
any time to receive incoming messages as well. If you don’t, Outlook Express
will automatically check for new messages every few minutes.
2.
This is the icon for the website
http://www.mail2web.com. To open, just double click this icon on your
laptop. It will take you to your email inbox. You can access this website from
any computer. To view messages, click on each message individually from the
inbox. Do not click “next or previous” to get to other messages because it is
very slow.
3.
This is the icon for the website
http://www.e-mailanywhere.com. To open, just double click this icon on your
laptop. It will take you to your email inbox. It works the same way as method
number 2, except that the interface is slightly different. You can access this
website from any computer. Since this site sometimes generates errors, you can
try using the method number 2.
