Office Shortcut Bar not included with Office 2003.
Outlook 2003:
Changes:

Shortcuts are not highlighted when browsing. Only the folder list shows the
current folder you are in by highlighting it.

Favorites are located under Public Folders.

You have to double-click on an email message to see the sent time if reading
pane is on the right. Change the position of the reading pane to see more
email header info.
-
Cannot place Outlook shortcut bar and Folder List side-by-side.

Shortcuts to Calendar's using forms will not work. See article

Shortcuts to other mailboxes disappear.
How-to:
-
Activate or Deactivate the Reading Pane
-
Go to your Inbox.
-
From the "View" menu, select Reading Pane, then Top, Bottom, or
Off.

View Public Folders
-
Go to your Inbox.
-
From the “Go” menu select “Folder List.”
-
The Folder List will appear.
-
Public Folders will be listed in the Folder List.
-
View shortcuts
Click the Shortcuts icon in the bottom of the
Navigation Bar.
-
Create
shortcuts to other folders
-
From the Navigation pane, click the Shortcuts icon.
-
Click "Add New Shortcut."
-
Select the folder for which you would like to make a
shortcut.

Turn off Inbox Grouping by date

Go to the Inbox.

From the “View menu,” select ““Arrange By,” then uncheck
"Show in Groups."

Turn off Gridlines in Inbox preview list

Go to the Inbox.

From the “View menu,” select “Arrange By,” then
“Current View,” then “Customize Current View.”

Click the “Other Settings” button.

For “Grid line Style” select “no gridlines.”

Uncheck “Show items in Groups.”

Turn off new mail desktop alert

Right-click on the Outlook icon in your system tray (next to
system clock).

First apply the latest Microsoft Jet Service Pack update
from the Windows Update site.

You will be prompted to block unsafe expressions in your
project. Select yes to block them.
Excel 2003:
-
The double underline icon does not work when added to the formatting
toolbar.
Word 2003:
-
Track changes are enabled and visible by default. Track changes cannot be
disabled.
-
To remove all track changes, select "Accept All Changes
In Document" from the Reviewing toolbar.
-
To enable a warning to appear before sending documents
with tracked changes, go to Tools, Options, Security, and select the
option "Warn before printing, saving or sending a file that contains
tracked changes or comments."
